black n white sampler

I finished my black 'n' white sampler.Yay!

I stitched for almost 30+ hours to complete this sampler.

This close up picture collage is for you Wendy...
I'll post pictures of the other filling stitches from this sampler in another post.

I always record the number of hours I spend on a project when I work for a commission but I sometimes don't bother to record if it's a personal project..
What do you do? Do you keep a count even if it's a personal project ?

Have a great weekend!
Happy stitching!
Anita.

You just! It's beautiful! I admire those who do work with wires numbered, is a great art!
No, I did not record the time spent on each of my projects because I'm doing several at once. Caught each depending on the light I have, the place, the time available, etc ...
Hugs!

Your sampler looks great! Will it become a wall hanging, pillow, other? It is amazing how much work and how many hours goes into some stitchwork. I normally don't keep track because I work on things when I have a break, so I may be on and off with days or hours between stitching. I should track it sometime to see how long something has taken.

That is a beautiful sampler and your stitches are so neat and tidy; it's a delight to look at the close up. I can see both Blackwork and Sashiko in it...
I do not record how long a project takes but am often asked. These days with mobile phones and timers it would actually be easy to keep records. Would it be worth the trouble, though? For commissioned work, definitely, but think I'd rather be stitching than checking time.

This is truly beautiful :-)
Wonderful piece. It is going to become what?

I do not record time, I have never done it and did not think of it till you asked :-)

it's beautiful, thank you for the close up picture!

I don't record how long things take me, I think if I did, it would put me off starting anything!

It's so beautiful and neat BUT I'm quite sure it's not easy.I admire your patience.I don't record my time but I feel time flies when you're doing something that you love.

Thank you all.
@ Sangheetha - I was thinking of framing earlier but now thinking of a pillow ,haven't decided yet!

This is beautiful :-) I don't tend to count the hours for personal projects, but then when people ask "how long did it take?" I wish I *did* remember. Ah well :-)
